Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LeelaRoom collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the LeelaRoom iOS application (the “App”). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Oleksandr Zikunov, 19370 Collins Ave, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160, United States, operating as LeelaRoom. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at zikunov@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect and process:

  • account information: your player name, email address, and account ID;
  • game and content information: your prompts, reflections, messages, game history, AI-generated responses, and PDF reports;
  • purchase information: Apple transaction ID, purchased product, price and currency, purchase date, and purchase status. We do not receive or store your payment-card details;
  • technical information: device push token, game IDs, app language, and AI-request metrics such as model, token count, latency, and status. These technical AI metrics do not include the text of your request;
  • feedback text if you choose to send feedback to our team.

3. Why we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • create and operate your account and synchronize it between your devices;
  • run games and generate AI-based guidance based on your game context and text you provide;
  • send a PDF report to an email address you have confirmed;
  • process and restore purchases;
  • send push reminders when you have granted notification permission;
  • respond to support requests and feedback; and
  • maintain, secure, and improve the App.

4. Guest games and account synchronization

Games played as a guest are stored locally on your device. Once you create and confirm an account, the applicable account and game data may be synchronized with our server so that it is available across your devices.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We use the following providers to operate the App:

  • Supabase for authentication and server-side storage in the United States;
  • OpenAI API to generate guidance from your game context and the text you provide;
  • Resend to deliver PDF reports and forward feedback you send;
  • Apple, StoreKit, and Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for purchases and push notifications.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of LeelaRoom, our users, or others.

6. No advertising or data sale

We do not use your data for advertising, do not track you across apps or websites, and do not sell your personal information.

7. Optional product-improvement consent

If you have a confirmed account, you may choose to allow us to use completed games to improve LeelaRoom. Before any such use, the information is manually de-identified. This is optional, and you may withdraw your consent at any time in the App without affecting your other use of the App.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep account and game information for as long as your confirmed account is active, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Backups and technical logs are retained for up to 90 days.

You can delete your confirmed account in Settings. This deletes your games, entries, AI responses, and reports from our server and your device. Purchase history remains with Apple and is governed by Apple’s own records and policies.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings and withdraw optional product-improvement consent in the App. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email zikunov@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our data practices change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
